Hermits of Shaddai are a spiritual based online community.  They were established by Karen Keating in 2007.  Karen is a hermit.  She was raised in the Catholic tradition and lives in Melbourne, Australia.  Her professional training is in the field of theology and spirituality (East / West), consciousness and energy medicine.  Karen co-ordinates a planetary healing network via the internet.

From when Karen was a child she experienced a compelling call to pursue the divine.  Through the ages the mystical call was lived in many different ways.  It led to monastic and religious orders.  Karen discovered her call as a hermit.  She live a simple, solitary, contemplative life.  She has a small hermitage overlooking the Dandenong Mountain Ranges.
